My little man.

If you love watching dogs do funny things then this is your video. I could watch it all day. He's trying to rip of the string from his monkey thing.

1:30 - 2:30 is THE best part.

Blink of an eye.

WARNING: This is going to be a complete photo bomb of my summer to keep you up to date on my life.

This summer has flown by so fast. I have been on a few adventures that I want to document before I forget everything! While I was still in Phoenix, I traveled up to a friends cabin in Pine, AZ. Here are some photos from the trip!

Poor Boo Boo Bear...lost in the woods.

Later on in the summer I went to New York with my parents! I wrote down what we did so that when I finally got around to writing about it, I could remember what all went down! Here was the agenda and some photos:

Monday:
- Met Mr. Vilcek, the guy that gave Jason his scholarship!
- Saw part of NYU.
- Walked through the largest public hospital that Jason is working for this summer. They see 40,000 patients every day!
- Walked the High Line

Tuesday:
- Walked through the Intrepid.
- Ate Falaffals!
- Saw Mamma Mia! on Broadway!

Wednesday:
- Went to the Ground Zero Memorial
- Saw the first law office building that my dad worked in.
- Saw the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.
- Went to the Seaport and ate in the rain.

Thursday:
- Went to FAO Schwartz, THE Tiffany's Co, and other big stores.
- Walked around Saks Fifth Avenue where my mom worked.
- Walked through Central Park.
- Walked around the Upper West Side where my parents used to live.
- Went to the original Ray’s Pizza where my parents ate 3 times a week when they were first married!
- Walked through the Natural History Museum.
- Walk through Times Square.
- Saw Memphis on Broadway (AMAZING).

Friday:
- Woke up to Chris Brown in concert outside my window at the Rockefeller Center.
- Went shopping in Times Square.
- Spent the evening with Jason and walked around Washington Square, Madison Square, Union Square, and got ice cream!

Saturday:
- More shopping with mom.
- Toured Columbia with my family for my dads college reunion!

Sunday
- Woke up to a Puerto Rican Day parade outside my window.
- Saw Sister Act on Broadway with Raven Symone as the lead! So good!
- Ran into 2 people from Shadow at the Airport on the plane home...random.

Ground Zero.

Brooklyn Bridge.

The hole in the wall burger place "behind the red curtain" in the 5 star hotel haha.

Mom asked for pickles on her burger...they just have her an enormous pickle instead.

Central Park!

So that was New York! It was so much fun to get away from Phoenix and see Jason and spend time with my parents. I loved seeing where they lived when they were first married. I feel like I know my parents so much more now.

And next...I chopped my hair off...FINALLY!

(Taken right after I got it cut.)

Lastly..I went to California last week for 5 days! I woke up, it was about 8:15, super jealous that my roommate was going to LA, and 30 minute later was in the car with her on our way to California! Here are some pictures from the trip!

Ignore the 'I just made a spontaneous 10 hour drive to California hair' and just look at the pretty temple.

Ferris Wheel on the Santa Monica Pier!

Candid.

Oh! I also went to Yellowstone with BYUSA. I don't have many pictures from that but Im trying to get the rest from the people I went with! Heres what I have:

I added some 4th of July Parade photos on to the end.

Sorry for the photo bomb!

Wedding Hopping

On May 12th, two of my best friends got married. This post is going to basically be a tribute to them!

Aliese came out of the temple first so I'll start with her. We grew up in the same stake and knew all the same people but never became friends when we were younger. I always thought she was too cute and perfect to be friends with me. She was friends with all the cutest guys in the stake, and I didn't feel worthy of that group haha. Graduation was coming up and I decided to be a visiting student at BYU in the summer and then go to BYU-Hawaii in the fall. Neither of us had roommates for that summer and so we decided to live together. I think Erin arranged that. Little did we know, we had a lot in common and really enjoyed hanging out together. We became really good friends that summer and it was sad to leave. I spent the next year living in Hawaii while she continued in Provo. A year later, I decided to transfer back to Provo and we decided to live together again! I lived with other friends during the summer but she and I were roommates during the Fall and Winter semesters. At the beginning of Fall Semester we had a ward opening social activity at Rock Canyon Park. Aliese pointed to a guy that Emily Adams wanted to set her up with. I didn't get a good look of what he looked like but I said go for it. The next week a group of people in the ward drove to the Alpine Slide (I think that's what it's called). I wasn't able to go because I was at a party with my family but I remember her texting me in fear because she had no idea how to talk to this kid. They finally had some conversation. I told her half-jokingly, "You're going to marry this guy," because if you know Aliese, you know she's the most outgoing, social girl you will ever meet. No one intimidates her, except this guy. Come to find out, this kid is Kyle. And what did she do? MARRIED HIM! How can I be so right about other peoples relationships and not mine! Oh well haha. I'm really glad that I was able to witness this relationship from the start. They are so good for each other and I really enjoyed spending time with them this year. Kyle is an amazing guy and has so much going for him. They are going to live an amazing, fun, adventurous life together. It amazes me how things work out and how important timing is. Had I not decided to move back to Provo (which some of you know was a huge controversy), Aliese and Kyle would not have met, and would not be married today. Aliese has been such an amazing example and friend to me. She would always go out of her way and do simple acts of kindness like make my bed, leave me an inspirational note, or make dinner, when she knew I was having a hard day or week. It was an emotional and hard year for me but she was there every step of the way. I am so lucky to have her as a friend and felt so honored when she asked me to be her Maid of Honor. It meant so much to me. She has such a good heart and is an amazing person. I know she will be one of my best friends for the rest of my life.

Then there's Taylor. Tay and I have been friends since the very beginning of our lives. It amazes me, yet doesn't surprise me that we have stayed such amazing friends for 20 years with countless years to go. I cant say enough good things about this girl. She has always inspired me to go after what I want and nothing less. She's never afraid of what other people think, and has always stayed true to herself. I miss the times that we had growing up, but I am so happy for her and her new married life. There are so many good this that I can look back on with her, and luckily, the end isn't near and we will continued to share fun times. A moment with Taylor that I really cherish was actually in the Temple on her wedding day right before she got married. Aliese got married about an hour before her and I was bringing in Aliese's flowers to her and ran into Taylor in the waiting room. Seth was out there as well. I was able to sit and chat with them in the Temple for a minute before they had to go get dressed to get married. I don't remember what we talked about but the moment was so special to me and I was so happy that I got to share that with her since I wasn't able to be at her reception as long as I would have liked. I will never forget those couple minutes in the temple. Words cannot express how much I love this girl, and how excited I am for her. I look forward to the day that I marry my best friend and understand the happiness that she is experiencing right now. I cant wait to go on a double date with my husband, her and Seth. Love you Tay!

It was hard to pick photos to post because I've had so many good times with these girls! Enjoy!
